Four Aspects of Comfortable Living
Comfortable living can be measured in different aspects. It can be vaguely defined in general, but for more specific definition, some areas need emphasis.
As far as having a comfortable life is concerned, you have to be equipped with the following:
Having an income that puts food on the table, pays the rent and bills, sends the kids to school, and provides the family with other needs. Not having to carry debt on your shoulders, having an emergency fund to fall back on when someone gets sick or the car breaks down. Having extra money to go on holiday doesn’t define comfortable living under this aspect. Instead, it’s just a bonus.
Having a good state of health and well-being. Physical fitness is defined as the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be healthy, to resist disease and to react to emergency situations. Being able to have descent sleeps and not abusing your physical self. Comfortable living under this aspect simply means having a healthy lifestyle.
Being able to make decisions on your own. Not having to battle against your own thoughts. Having good sense of focus and being able to handle stress. Not having to deal with daily fear. Being clear headed and having the ability to act dignified no matter what comes your way; being able to access negativity in a positive manner. To sum it all up, you can live comfortably in physiological aspect if you have a peace of mind.
Being able to forgive and to live your life free from bitterness and hatred. Learning how to appreciate your blessings. Being able to have the appropriate feelings about the common experiences and being able to act in a rational manner. People that are emotionally stable are able to tolerate the day to day strains and stresses by not getting emotionally upset, anxious or angry. Think positively, for you’ll find no comfort in life if you opt to worry.
